Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Customer Water Quality Officer to be the friendly face when meeting customers and to help ensure tap water quality across a large service area. You will travel between sites, test water samples in homes and businesses, manage sampling records and equipment, and support investigations into supply issues or complaints.

The role includes a standby rota with extended hours and weekend work; a clean manual driving licence is essential, and you will drive a medium-sized

Qualifications

• Must have a clean manual driving licence.
• Customer-facing experience required.
• Able to visit domestic homes and businesses.
• Comfortable driving a medium-sized vehicle in busy areas.
• Good planning and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test water samples in domestic homes and businesses.
• Oversee sampling records and maintenance of sampling equipment.
• Assist with investigating supply issues or customer complaints.
• Travel between customers and sites as part of a team.
• Participate in standby rota with extended hours and weekends.
