Job summary

Cotswold Outdoor Group is seeking a Field Visual Merchandiser to visit our Yorkshire stores—Catterick, Beverley, Skipton, Harrogate and Leeds—and uphold premium visual standards. You’ll travel between locations, coach store teams, and contribute to seasonal layouts under the guidance of the Visual Merchandising team.

The role emphasizes data-driven merchandising decisions, strong communication, and flexibility to support store openings and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium visual merchandising and in-store layouts.
• Background in large store/field merchandising with data use to inform decisions.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented and adaptable with ability to travel across stores.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out visual merchandising activities in stores, following pre-planned agendas and aligning with store prioritisation strategies.
• Identifying commercial and visual opportunities during store visits and providing feedback to store management.
• Contributing to the development of the regional visual merchandising strategy by identifying store focus areas and supporting seasonal layout planning.
• Coaching and upskilling store teams through workshops and hands-on training.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with store management and ensuring effective feedback cycles.
• Playing a key role in planning and executing new store openings and enhancement projects with support from the wider Visual Merchandising team.
