Job summary

Hyreus is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor for a field-based role in Tamworth. The successful candidate will carry out utility surveys, locate underground services, and produce clear survey data and drawings using GPR and related equipment.

Applicants should have strong utility surveying experience, electromagnetic detection skills, and the ability to interpret utility records. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel to site locations are essential.

Responsibilities

Carry out utility surveys across a range of sites (commercial, infrastructure, construction).
Use GPR and other equipment to detect and locate underground utilities.
Identify and map underground services (water, gas, electric, telecoms, drainage).
Record, interpret and report field survey data clearly.
Produce accurate survey drawings and reports.
Maintain and service GPR equipment and survey tools.
Review plans and existing records before surveys.
Identify risks and report findings to project teams.
