Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a Field Biologist for our Cambridge area field station. You will carry out development trials across crop protection and seed development disciplines, including site discovery, field prep, product application, maintenance, assessment and reporting to GEP standards.

You will generate high-quality field trial data, contribute to planning and reporting within EAME profiling and product development programmes, and apply agronomic expertise to help develop new

Qualifications

• Scientific mindset for planning, executing and reporting field trials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience interpreting data for regulatory and commercial use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage field trials from planning to final report to local quality and HSE standards.
• Lead in trial excellence to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to project and trial planning and design.
• Ensure rapid data availability and interpretation for Global and EAME use (ARM and presentations).
• Provide scientific data interpretation and recommendations for next steps in a project.
• Support field trial visits and training of new staff.
• Contribute to SOP writing and maintenance; keep facilities compliant with HSE standards.
