Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a Field Biologist based near Cambridge to conduct and manage development trials across crop protection disciplines. You will generate high-quality field data, support planning and reporting within EAME programmes, and apply agronomic expertise to develop innovative solutions.

The role is hands-on and based at our Cambridge field station, with responsibilities spanning site design, farmer liaison, trial budgeting and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Scientific mindset applied to planning, execution and reporting of field trials.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage field trials through planning to final report with minimal supervision.
• Lead in trial excellence to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure rapid data availability and interpretation for global use.
