Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Site Technician to lead and support nationwide projects involving load testing, structural testing, inspections and site activity. You will prepare testing equipment, install temporary systems, record and analyse data, and produce high-quality documentation for clients.

The role requires a GCSE in English/Math/Science, NVQ3 in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent), and a degree is a plus. Travel nationwide with a small lab element in Ellesmere Port.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science.
• NVQ Level 3 in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Previous experience in load testing, site engineering or structural testing.
• Experience with testing equipment, fault finding and solving technical problems.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in construction or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required.
• Full UK driving licence with <= 6 points and no active convictions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site load testing and structural testing across projects.
• Install, assemble and prepare testing equipment, temporary systems and monitoring devices.
• Record, analyse and document test results, and prepare technical reports for clients.
• Identify equipment issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Communicate with clients and site teams to support project delivery.
• Maintain, inspect and service testing equipment to ensure readiness.
• Follow RAMS and site safety regulations at all times.
• Complete accurate site records and daily activity logs.
• Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors to deliver projects.
