Job Description:

Radio Technician - South East

Join our dedicated multiskilled Radio and TV Broadcast Engineering Team, where no day is the same! Your role involves fault-finding, maintenance, and support of DAB, FM/AM Radio, and Freeview Television systems, essential for information, entertainment, and connectivity.

Location: Travel required around South East, including Crystal Palace and surrounding areas.

Total Package:

• Up to £34,000 base salary
• 5% Shift Allowance
• Paid Overtime
• Company vehicle
• 5% pension contribution

• 25 days annual leave

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in an on-call rota for 24/7 fault response
• Perform planned maintenance on systems like DAB, FM, AM
• Respond to faults, outages, and perform corrective maintenance
• Support upgrades and modifications of RF systems and networks
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Conduct testing and measurements to ensure compliance
• Engage with customers and build positive relationships
• Potential career progression to engineering roles

Preferred Experience:

• Clean driving license
• Knowledge of broadcast, IP networks, IoT, or corporate applications
• Knowledge of RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms
• Understanding of power supplies, environmental controls, electronics
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environment legislation
• Willingness to work away from home
• Electrical qualifications (NVQ level 3) are a plus but not required
