Job Opportunity: Field Installer - South West

£ per hour (Paid via Umbrella PAYE - £516+ take home per week)

Role Overview:

Do you have experience installing or replacing equipment within retail stores? Are you seeking a contract role where expenses are covered, and a vehicle and fuel card are provided?

Our client is a leading service provider to supermarket chains nationwide. Due to ongoing projects, they need a field team member in the South West area to install and/or replace security shields on chip & PIN devices at checkout tills. The role may involve working at various sites across the UK. All expenses, including accommodation when necessary, are covered, and a vehicle with a fuel card will be provided.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with Point of Sale devices or similar retail equipment.
• Good attention to detail, professional, reliable, and capable of accurate reporting and documentation of work.
• Previous retail environment experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install/replace PIN security shields on Chip & PIN devices at checkout tills. Report issues immediately to project management. Liaise with store staff to minimize impact on daily operations.
2. Work in the South West region (Bristol, Wales, Cornwall, Devon, Bournemouth, Oxford).
3. Start date estimated between 21st and 28th April. Project duration: 10-12 weeks.
4. 8-hour workdays, including travel time. Travel time (45 minutes each way) is unpaid.
5. DBS check required unless you already possess a recent certificate.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with customers and project team.
• Experience working in busy retail settings, managing interactions with staff and customers to ensure minimal disruption.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with the project management team.
• Full UK driving license (clean).
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required. Reliable and punctual.
• Recent DBS check or willingness to obtain one (free of charge).
