Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Field Technical Engineer in London to service and maintain HIUs/HRUs, meter systems and plant rooms across the region. You will diagnose faults, perform replacements and support metering upgrades in busy heat networks environments.

The role requires solid plumbing/heating experience, the ability to work in plant rooms, and a driver’s licence. A structured training plan and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing and heating experience.
• Experience servicing or repairing HIUs/HRUs.
• Comfort working in plant rooms and mechanical spaces.
• Basic electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and planned maintenance of HIUs/HRUs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Replacements and upgrades.
• Reactive repairs and metering system maintenance.
• Plant room maintenance including pumps and filtration.
• Travel across London and Home Counties as required.
