Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Field-Based Stock Control Coordinator to visit depots and sites across the South West and Wales, conducting stock audits and asset reviews while driving cost efficiency. You will manage surplus stock, support planned work programmes, and maintain central registers.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience in stock control, and the ability to travel regularly. A full UK driving licence is essential, and the position is field-based with typical daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock checks, inventory management, or asset audits.
• Comfortable in depot, warehouse, or operational environments.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Visit depots and sites across the South West & Wales.
• Conduct physical stock checks of transformers, switchgear, cable, and more.
• Verify stock location, condition, and usability; reconcile with records.
• Identify surplus, unused, or underutilised stock and record assets accurately.
• Match surplus stock to planned work programmes and assist in future replacement schemes.
• Produce weekly progress reports and track stock values in trackers.
