Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Solar O&M Technician for a UK-based portfolio of utility-scale solar PV assets. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large-scale solar farms to maximise plant availability and performance.

The role offers £60,000 plus overtime, bonus, a company van and a fuel card, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and strict adherence to UK HSE and electrical safety standards.

Qualifications

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)
• Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards
