Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to maintain and optimise utility-scale solar PV sites in the UK. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance and high plant availability across large-scale installations.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding on inverters and HV/LV equipment, and contribute to detailed service reporting while ensuring adherence to UK HSE and electrical safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Ability to fault find and diagnose issues on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems.
• Proficient in testing and inspection of AC/DC systems.
• Experience with thermographic inspections and string testing.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to alarms; maintain detailed service records.

About the Role:

We have partnered with a UK-based solar O&M company, maintaining multi-megawatt solar PV assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Solar O&M Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar sites.

As a Solar O&M Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large-scale ground-mounted solar farms. You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum plant availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems
