As their business expands within the UK Aerospace & Defence market, they seek an experienced Field Engineer with expertise in Telecommunications and IT systems. A military background is preferred but not essential.
The role involves working on secure communication systems for military and commercial clients, mainly supporting naval platforms.
The position requires working independently with high autonomy, traveling to customer sites, including Naval vessels within the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and defect rectification of a range of Integrated Communications Systems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and technical skills, particularly in fault finding.
The client offers comprehensive product training through internal programs and on-site with Senior Engineers.
The role reports to the head of the UK Projects and Solutions group. There are opportunities for career progression towards roles such as Lead Engineer, Project Management, or Engineering Management.
Due to travel requirements and the nature of the Defence Industry, candidates must hold a Full UK driving license and be eligible for UK SC and possibly DV clearance.
