Une entreprise leader dans la technologie de détection recherche un Ingénieur de Service pour l'installation et le support des systèmes de rayons X. Ce rôle exige une excellente communication, des connaissances techniques sur les systèmes de rayons X, et la flexibilité pour voyager à l'international. Vous serez responsable de la maintenance préventive et corrective, avec la possibilité de travailler sur des systèmes complexes et de fournir un support technique aux clients.

Qualifications

  • Expérience en installation, configuration et dépannage de serveurs et stations de travail basés sur MS Windows.
  • Connaissances des systèmes de rayons X de haute gamme ou de tomographie calculée sont un grand avantage.
  • Expérience en rôle d'ingénieur de service indispensable.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance préventive et corrective des systèmes de rayons X chez les clients.
  • Fournir un soutien technique à distance aux ingénieurs distributeurs et aux clients.
  • Soumettre des rapports de service et de non-conformité sans délai.

Overview of role:

Installation, Service, and support of Rapiscan X-RAY screening systems. This role will have primary responsibility for supporting all X-ray, CT, Checkpoint and Trace product lines of Rapiscan systems.

  • ADS, CT, Checkpoint & Trace products at customer’s premises, primarily in the Scotland & Newcastle areas, may occasionally include other locations throughout the UK and overseas.
  • Installation, commissioning and service support of Rapiscan’s X-ray, CT, Checkpoint and Trace systems at our customer’s premises EMEA and International locations.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on-site at our customers’ premises in EMEA.
  • Carry out service site surveys prior to installations and professional site reports.
  • Carries out all preventive and corrective maintenance works and attends all call-outs.
  • Works on shifts pattern to support key customer site
  • Provide remote technical support to Distributors engineers and customers.
  • Work with all internal departments and externally with our customers and Distributors on service-related matters and provide guidance when required.
  • Makes sure to submit service reports and non-conformance reports as required without delay
  • Give regular feedback to Engineering, Product Line Management and QA as part of our continuous improvement programme.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Candidate Requirements

  • A strong communication skill with excellent written and oral ability. Able to clearly articulate both the Product and Process to any Customer or Programme Stakeholder.
  • Experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting MS Windows based servers and workstations highly desirable
  • Knowledge of high-end X-ray systems or computed tomography a major advantage
  • Experience programming PLC’s an advantage.
  • Have excellent ability to trouble-shoot complex systems and logically work through problems.
  • Must have experience in a field service engineer role.
  • Flexible during times of change and reacts to project adjustments promptly and efficiently
  • Willingness to travel within UK and Overseas.
  • Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure.
  • Strong aptitude to learn.
  • Ability to obtain airport security passes essential (some require a Criminal Record check).
  • Post graduate qualification in Electrical engineering desirable
  • A recognised qualification in an IT (Microsoft, cisco etc) a plus
  • A good general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, hydraulic, electronics or complex electro-mechanical equipment or systems. Or knowledge of HV Systems i.e. Medical or Industrial engineering discipline
