Field Service Engineer - Cutting-Edge Diagnostic Technology & Microscopes

Location: Welwyn Garden City, Bedford, Peterborough, Cambridge region

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking to work with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and high-precision microscopes? This is your chance to join a leading global technology company at the forefront of medical innovation, supporting groundbreaking solutions in the Meditech sector.

In this role, you'll play a key part in advancing healthcare technology, providing expert technical services and ensuring critical diagnostic equipment operates at peak performance. Your skills will directly impact patient care and scientific breakthroughs by maintaining and supporting cutting-edge medical devices.

  • Install, service, and repair advanced diagnostic and microscopy equipment used in hospitals, laboratories, and research facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, IT networks, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to customers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with global technical teams, sharing expertise and implementing the latest technology updates and modifications.
  • Maintain high first-time fix rates (FTFR) and optimize equipment performance through proactive servicing.
  • Travel when required, including occasional training in Germany and the USA.

Technical Apprenticeship or HNC+ in Electronics, Engineering, IT, or a Scientific field

Full UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK & Ireland

Passion for cutting-edge medical technology and problem-solving

HND or Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering, Physics

Experience with diagnostic imaging, microscopy, or medical technology
