Job summary

Agena Group is seeking a Field Services Engineer to work outdoors at client sites along the South Coast. You will install signage and prepare sites for ANPR and CCTV installations, performing digging, cabling and pole erection, including work at height and in all weather.

The role provides a company van and tools, with travel from Chichester to Lancing and beyond. Hours are 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday (40 hours). Overtime and a monthly bonus on sites completed add to earnings (OTE £32k).

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK manual driving licence with ≤6 points.
• Age 25 or older.
• Experience with manual labour including at height is required.
• Background in building, construction or civils is desirable.

Position

As a Field Services Engineer you will be working outside at client locations to install signage and prepare the site for ANPR and CCTV installations. This is a manual, physical job which will require digging holes, caballing and erecting poles. Working at height and being outdoors is an every day occurrence in this role!

We will provide you with the van and equipment to do your job effectively. You will be travelling from Chichester, along the south Coast. We have an equipment supply hub in Lancing so that will be a frequent destination.

Responsibilities And Duties

• To install all appropriate signage at our sites
• To resolve issues with cameras at sites as requested for any reactive jobs
• To ensure our clients always receive a personable and quality service
• To follow safe working procedures and operating procedures
• To follow all compliance procedures
• To enter correct and detailed reports on our scheduling system

Who You Are

• You must be happy working outdoors in all weathers, digging holes and climbing poles!
• A background in building, construction or civils is desirable.
• You will be experienced working in a manual capacity including at height.
• You will be flexible at your working approaches, due to the travel element of the role.
• A company van and tools will be provided. - you must have a full UK manual driving licence with less than 6 points for this role.
• Due to our driving policy, you must be aged 25 years or older.

Other Information About The Role

Salary: £27,500 per annum plus regular overtime opportunities and monthly bonus on sites being successfully completed (OTE £32k)

Hours: 40 per week; Monday - Friday. Leave the house at 08:00 (start time) and finish at 16:30.

Location: Field based role covering the South coast

• You must be able to legally live and work in the UK without sponsorship
• This role is subject to the approval of our motor insurance provider, and continued employment is dependent on maintaining eligibility to drive under the company's insurance policy
