Job summary

KAUTEC RECRUITMENT Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service a network of bespoke equipment at customer sites across North London and Essex. The role involves driving to workshops, performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and emergency callouts on diverse vehicles and platforms.

You should be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have an authorised Apprenticeship. A Class 2 Licence is beneficial, and you will travel within the designated area, with training on new

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
• Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within designated area.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Callouts to client sites for repairs and maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance on bespoke equipment.
• Emergency breakdown support.
• Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites.
• MOT preparation where applicable.
• Engine work and diagnostics.
• Correction of running defects.
• Chassis and fabrication work.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics inspections.
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.
