Job summary

Getinge is seeking a field-based engineer to service and validate Life Science equipment across the UK. You will perform IQ/OQ/PQ activities, conduct thermal mapping with calibrated instruments, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.

You will also complete detailed reports and ensure documentation is up to date. The role requires experience with autoclaves, isolators, and washers, plus an engineering qualification and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and validating Life Science equipment.
• Experience with autoclaves, isolators and/or laboratory washers.
• Validation qualification with HTM 2010 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQ/OQ/PQ activities where applicable and validate equipment.
• Conduct thermal mapping and validation using calibrated test equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and control faults.
• Complete service reports and validation documentation accurately and on time.
• Travel throughout the assigned region and support UK customers.
• Participate in an on-call rota if required.
