Job Description:

3-month contract
On-site, Catterick

This role requires someone either already actively SC Cleared, or someone who is SC Clearable (You must be a UK national or have been a resident of the UK for at least 5 years to be SC Cleared.)

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain IT services and equipment within your assigned Hub and surrounding spokes.
  • Queue Ticket Management: Handle and update tickets efficiently to meet service levels.
  • Hub Stock Management: Oversee asset management, including scanning items in and out.
  • Disposal Management: Manage equipment disposal in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Hardware Repairs: Perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors.
  • Locker Replenishments: Restock lockers with necessary equipment.
  • Service Improvement: Identify and report potential service issues or improvements.
  • Process Adherence: Follow all processes and site regulations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain SC clearance.
  • Nationality: Must be a UK National with a UK passport.
  • Availability: Must participate in out-of-hours (OOH) rota and standby.
  • Driving Licence: Full, clean driving licence required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a PC field service or workshop environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing hardware, including complex laptop repairs.
  • Certifications: Willing to undergo training for HP and Dell desktop and laptop support.
