Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Installation & Technical Support Engineer in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves hands-on installation, commissioning and field service across the UK and internationally, with regular travel to customer sites.

You will diagnose hardware, software and connectivity issues, perform preventative maintenance and provide excellent customer care. A driver is required and there will be travel and field-based work.

This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same - one day you could be installing and commissioning new equipment and the next diagnosing a connectivity issue or carrying out preventative maintenance.

Hemel Hempstead Depo & Field-based, with travel to customer sites.

Duties to Include:

Installations and collections

• Deliver and install equipment on customer sites
• Collect and replace faulty machinery
• Accurately record installations, assets and customer information.

Maintain & troubleshoot

• Carry out preventative maintenance, calibration, upgrades and repairs both in the warehouse and out in the field.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity and configuration issues.
• Monitor system alerts and connectivity.

Customer care

• Be a professional and friendly face for customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Keep accurate records of visits, repairs and customer interactions.
