Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and relocate specialist condition monitoring equipment at HV substations across the UK. You will be based in or around Glasgow with regular travel, receiving full industry training and clear progression toward an engineering role.

The role offers a base salary of £30,000 with an OTE of £40,000, salary sacrifice, death in service, pension, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Relevant Electrical qualification (Minimum HNC or equivalent).
• At least one year's experience installing and maintaining electrical equipment.
• Looking to build a long-term career within the power industry.
• Full UK driving licence.

In this role, you will install, maintain and relocate specialist condition monitoring equipment at HV substations across the UK. You will also carry out site surveys, electrical testing and prepare technical documentation, while receiving continuous on‑the‑job training to develop from Technician into Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience installing and maintaining electrical equipment, along with a relevant engineering qualification and a desire to develop within the power industry.
