Job summary

Culligan UK limited is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to service water treatment systems at customer sites, perform maintenance, install and troubleshoot equipment, and help keep systems running smoothly.

This role includes training, a Monday–Friday work pattern, a company van with private use option, and benefits such as pension and discounts. You will build relationships with customers and contribute to clean, safe water.

Qualifications

• Full training provided for role
• Valid, full driving licence required
• Experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment directly at clients’ locations.
• Oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and report issues.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver service.
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using tools and skills.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.

• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients’ locations.

• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers.

• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions.

• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service

• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.

• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
