Job summary
Precision People is seeking an experienced Heating & Boiler Engineer to join a leading manufacturer. This home-based, field service role covers the North of England, with around 2–3 customer visits per day diagnosing faults, servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
You’ll receive specialist manufacturer training, a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, an excellent pension and ongoing career development.
Qualifications
- Servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience on oil-fired boilers is advantageous.
- Experience working in customers' homes is required.
- Air source heat pump experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults on oil boilers, heating controls, hot water cylinders and air source heat pumps.
- Carrying out warranty repairs and planned maintenance.
- Commissioning products where required.
- Providing technical advice to homeowners, installers and engineers.
- Managing your daily schedule with a customer service team.
- Completing service reports and paperwork.
- Maintaining company tools and equipment.
