Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator technician to service generators, UPS and control systems across Hampshire. The role involves travel, installation support and on-site fault diagnosis, with a focus on preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

You will join a team providing on-site service with a company van, laptop and ongoing training. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with competitive pay and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working on generators and other critical power equipment or in similar environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Travel around the Hampshire Area.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems and related equipment.
• Conduct load bank testing, site surveys and inspections of critical power systems.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of various critical power equipment.
• Install temporary/hire equipment on customer sites and manage onsite work safely.
