Job summary

Resourcing Group in the Birmingham area is seeking an Escalator Service & Repair Engineer for a full-time, on-site role covering Birmingham and Midlands. You will service, install, and repair escalators, travelators and walkways, diagnosing issues on mechanical and electrical systems.

You will conduct safety checks to standards, communicate with clients on-site, and participate in an on-call rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on escalator engineering experience, including servicing and installation where possible.
• NVQ 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical issue diagnosis.
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installation and repair of escalators, travelators and walkways.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and replace or repair components.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Communicate with clients and provide on-site support.
• Be available for on-call rota including weekends and bank holidays.
