Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an Escalator Service & Repair Engineer to cover Birmingham and the Midlands. This full-time, on-site role involves servicing, installing and repairing escalators, travelators and walkways for clients, with an active on-call rota including weekends and bank holidays.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform safety checks, replace components and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on escalator engineering experience, servicing and ideally installation/refurbishment.
• NVQ3 Escalator Engineering is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions and on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Service, install and repair escalators, travelators and walkways.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and replace/repair parts.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain on-site customer communication and support, including on-call rota.
