Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineering Manager in Bedfordshire to lead a small team of field-based mechanical technicians across the Southeast region.

You will oversee reliability of electrical generating assets (Solar, Wind, and mainly Gas Engines), manage operations, and use Maximo for orders and support. A hands-on leadership style with strong people management is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Previous experience leading an engineering team.
• Strong people management skills.
• The ability to travel across the region.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Field Service Engineering Manager Package up to c£89,000 Bedford MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineering Manager

This role will involve managing a small team of field based mechanical technicians covering the southeast of England.

Responsibilities

• Leading a mechanical O & M team across the Southeast.
• The geographical area to be covered includes Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex & Kent.
• This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong operational, technical & people management skills.
• You will deliver high reliability on electrical generating assets including Solar & Wind, but most Gas Engines (both dirty & natural).
• Using the Maximo system to generate orders & technical support.
• Other duties as required.
