Job summary

Pellenc ST is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain our advanced optical sorting systems across customers in the UK and Ireland. The role involves frequent travel and staying away from home, delivering high-quality service and support.

You will work with a dynamic team, applying mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commissioning and maintenance experience with mechanical/electrotechnical or industrial machinery.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay away from home.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work in a team or independently with self-motivation.
• Strong reporting and synthesis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain optical sorting equipment at customer sites.
• Travel frequently across UK and Ireland, with overnight stays as needed.
• Provide on-site support and customer relations.
• Complete accurate reports and service documentation.

Profil

Qualities we seek:

• Mechanical, electrotechnical, or industrial machinery background with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and maintenance.
• Experience in a field engineer role with travel and a strong customer relations focus will be appreciated.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics andpneumatic systems.
• Excellent reporting and synthesis skills,
