The role of Field Service Engineer (FSE) involves repairing, servicing, and installing products within the CooperSurgical portfolio, ensuring optimal service for our clients.

You will be motivated by helping customers properly use our products and enjoy engaging with diverse clients facing various challenges related to our products or other complex issues.

Initially, you will undergo intensive training, including shadowing peers across EMEA, which requires travel. You will always have colleagues available via phone to assist.

The FSE role is crucial for our customers and the ongoing success of CooperSurgical.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and effective service, repair, and installation of products
  • Supporting teammates and customers across France and other EMEA countries
  • Enhancing customer experience
  • Advising and guiding customers on product usage
  • Traveling to labs/clinics across Europe and occasionally worldwide to service, repair, and install mechanical, electronic, and software medical devices
  • Maintaining tools and spare equipment as per specifications
  • Assisting other Field Service Engineers through cross-training and shadowing
  • Participating in equipment setup for workshops, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring proper care and maintenance
  • Following company systems and procedures, complying with local legislation
  • Providing telephone technical support as needed and understanding FLS processes for coverage
  • Managing travel arrangements to minimize downtime and costs

Minimum qualifications:

  • Diploma in technical or medico-technician field
  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in IVD or lab tech
