Job summary

Vp plc's UK Forks division is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair Telehandlers and hire machinery at customer sites across the region. You will troubleshoot issues, complete preventative maintenance and deliver excellent service to our clients.

We value practical problem solving, strong communication and the ability to travel to customer sites. A mechanical qualification and a valid driving licence are preferred, with in-house and external training provided to support

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing plant equipment, including Telehandlers.
• Desirable qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Good time management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and servicing on hire machinery at customer sites.
• Provide breakdown resolutions and repair service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during site visits.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify service improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services and customer interactions.
