Job summary

Terberg DTS UK is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to service, repair, diagnose, and support Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer sites across the UK. You will travel to client locations, perform diagnostics using advanced equipment, and deliver first-class technical support in line with manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, particularly in auto-electrics.
• Experience working on HGVs, plant machinery, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment.
• Confidence using modern diagnostic systems.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying wear, damage, and potential failures.
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
• Producing accurate service reports and repair recommendations.
• Managing van stock and ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills.
