Job summary

Terberg DTS is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to service, repair, and inspect Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment, carrying out repairs to manufacturer standards while maintaining safety and high service levels.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
• Experience on HGVs, plant machinery, or similar equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out inspections and identify wear, damage, and potential failures.
• Complete repairs safely and to manufacturer standards.
• Produce service reports and repair recommendations.
• Manage van stock and ensure parts availability.
• Build relationships with customers through service.
• Work independently with high safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
