Job summary

Terberg DTS (UK) is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to service, diagnose, repair and support specialist vehicles at customer locations across the region. You will use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify faults, perform repairs to manufacturer standards, and deliver high-quality reports and recommendations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, a strong customer focus, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, particularly in auto-electrics.
• Experience working on HGVs, plant machinery, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment.
• Confidence using modern diagnostic systems.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying wear, damage, and potential failures.
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
• Producing accurate service reports and repair recommendations.
• Managing van stock and ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills.
