Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd in the UK is seeking a capable field service engineer to carry out on-site service and repair of customer equipment, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in every job. You will work to planned schedules at our clients’ premises and maintain thorough documentation of all works performed.

Essentially you must have a full UK driving licence, be proficient at fault finding and repair, and meet English and maths GCSE requirements.

Qualifications

Must hold full UK Driving Licence.
Proficient in fault finding and repair.
Educated to achieve a grade C in English and maths at GCSE.
Experience of Health & Safety requirements working in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out on-site service and repairs to customer equipment in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.
Maintain documentation of all works in line with Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
Monitor van stock and ensure sufficient parts for daily maintenance of the fleet.
Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.

The role will involve working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client’s premises. To ensure van stock is monitored / counted, and sufficient for the day to day maintenance of the fleet.

To carry out inspections and monitor the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks.
To accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within the required timescales.
To take responsibility for all equipment and tooling (including van/laptop/tablet etc.) and ensure that it is in a safe condition for the type of work being undertaken.
To work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.
