Job summary

Lightsource bp O&M is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain solar plants across the South East region, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, inverters, modules, CCTV and monitoring systems. You will work on-site with occasional travel to other sites.

Ideal candidates hold BS7671 and Level 3 Electrical NVQ or equivalent, possess a full driving licence, and can pass LV1 assessments. The role offers a competitive package with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications including BS7671 and Level 3 Electrical NVQ or equivalent.
• Ability to safely pass LV1 assessment.
• Desirable: experience in electricians mate, industrial PV installation maintenance, inverter maintenance and HV switching.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all HSE procedures and participate in risk assessments.
• Perform maintenance on electrical components, inverters, modules, CCTV and monitoring systems.
• Provide detailed reports to Lightsource BP standards, remotely where needed.
• Deliver electrical maintenance across a region with occasional travel to other regions.
• Assist in compiling insurance and warranty claims.
• Take ownership of assigned sites and manage relationships with local subcontractors.
