Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Pump Engineer to service, repair, install and commission pumping stations across London and the Home Counties. The role requires pumping experience and an electrical bias, with a day shift and a field-based, autonomous work style.

Ideal candidates will have pump controls knowledge, an electrical qualification, and a UK driving license. On-call rota applies; company van and pension are included as part of the package.

Responsibilities

FIELD SERVICE PUMP ENGINEER

Job Title: Field Service Pump Engineer

Location: London and Home Counties

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

Job Role of the Field Service Pump Engineer

We are looking for a Field Service Pump Engineer with an electrical bias to join a growing service team working across London and the Home Counties. The role involves servicing, repairing, installing and commissioning pumping stations and associated equipment on customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on pumps, pump controls, floats, ultrasonics and associated electrical/mechanical systems. You will carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and installation work, while providing clear service reports via PDA/mobile device.

This is a field-based role working independently and as part of a team, including participation in an emergency call out rota. Experience working with wastewater, grey water or effluent systems is desirable, and confined space work may be required.

• Desirable to have an 18th Edition
• Desirable to be apprentice trained
