Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Service Engineer to join our field-service team. You will strip, inspect, and rebuild pumps, mixers, gearboxes and other rotating equipment across sectors, delivering high-quality maintenance and technical support.

Role involves fieldwork mainly in East Anglia with occasional UK-wide assignments; a company van is provided. You will need an autonomous work style, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical / rotating equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Full UK Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Strip, inspect, and rebuild machinery such as Pumps, Mixers, Compressors, and Gearboxes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and generate reports.
• Interact with clients to understand requirements and provide technical advice.
