Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair specialist packaging machinery across the UK. You will be involved in installation, commissioning and upgrades, with occasional travel to Italy for manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Background working as a Field Service Engineer.
• Experience working on Packaging Machinery or similar systems.
• Multi skilled in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control-system issues.
• Install, commission and set up new packaging machinery.
• Attend customer sites across the UK, with 1-2 nights away per week and occasional travel to Italy.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and testing documentation.
• Work Monday to Friday.
