Job summary
NEOS Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Devizes to service customer sites on a permanent basis. You will inspect, repair and maintain a range of specialist equipment, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults and complete service reports.
The role offers a basic salary of £33,280–£37,440 with overtime, a company van and fuel card, plus ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Good hydraulic fault-finding ability.
- Electrical/diagnostic experience.
- Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs.
- Carry out inspections and safety checks.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Build strong relationships with customers.
- Provide professional technical support.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
