Job summary

NEOS Engineering is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover Milton Keynes and surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business.

This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently. Excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently and solving technical problems in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Engineer or similar role
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Good hydraulic fault-finding ability
• Electrical/diagnostic experience
• Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment
• Comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs
• Carry out inspections and safety checks
• Complete service reports and maintenance records
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Provide professional technical support
• Maintain high standards of health and safety
