A leading radiation safety company is seeking a UK Site Service Engineer based in Forss near Dounreay. This role involves maintaining and supporting waste assay systems and providing technical assistance on nuclear-related instrumentation. The ideal candidate should have a recognized engineering qualification and familiarity with nuclear licensed sites. Qualifications
Recognised engineering apprenticeship and a minimum HNC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of radiation measurement instruments and gamma spectroscopy is desirable.
Familiarity with nuclear licensed sites like Dounreay or Sellafield is preferred.
Strong initiative, motivation, and commitment to quality work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
Eligibility for UK security clearance required.
High level of English proficiency.
Responsibilities
Maintenance and support of specialist and bespoke waste assay systems.
Inspection, calibration, test and repair of nuclear related monitoring and detection instrumentation.
Field service and technical support to customers.
Liaison with customer project teams for installation of equipment.
