A leading radiation safety company is seeking a UK Site Service Engineer based in Forss near Dounreay. This role involves maintaining and supporting waste assay systems and providing technical assistance on nuclear-related instrumentation. The ideal candidate should have a recognized engineering qualification and familiarity with nuclear licensed sites. Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship and a minimum HNC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of radiation measurement instruments and gamma spectroscopy is desirable.
• Familiarity with nuclear licensed sites like Dounreay or Sellafield is preferred.
• Strong initiative, motivation, and commitment to quality work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
• Eligibility for UK security clearance required.
• High level of English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and support of specialist and bespoke waste assay systems.
• Inspection, calibration, test and repair of nuclear related monitoring and detection instrumentation.
• Field service and technical support to customers.
• Liaison with customer project teams for installation of equipment.
