Do you have strong electrical engineering experience with heavy industrial equipment?

Looking to earn more income by working overtime?

Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruitan experienced Field Service Engineer in Northern Irelandto join their team. This role is responsible for the service, repair, and support of a range of industrial electrical equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical equipment.
• Installing and commissioning new equipment.
• Speaking directly to clients and handling complaints.
• Fault finding, diagnosing, and technical problem-solving of electromechanical equipment.
• Field-based, travelling across the UK and Ireland.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have experience in electrical engineering (mechanical knowledge beneficial).
• Must have previous experience in a field-based position.
• Previous experience in an industrial or commercial workplace.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• A flexible approach to hours worked, including weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland/Ireland, with the occasional travel to the UK.
• Clean full UK Driving License.

Additional Information:

• Please note the Head Office is based in Banbury, but the role is based in Northern Ireland.
• Overtime is typically in the region of 20-35% of salary.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, with frequent weekend work required, especially for installations.

• 25 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays.
