Atlas Copco in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, focusing on customer satisfaction and safety. The role is based in the North-West UK, with on-site visits to install, service, and troubleshoot equipment.

You will log service activity digitally, join on-call rotations, attend training, and act as a brand ambassador while contributing to continuous improvement and a collaborative, safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles.
• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with standard IT applications and digital service tools.
• Valid UK driving licence with a clean record (0–3 points).
• Strong safety mindset and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators.
• Diagnose faults and deliver expert repairs safely and efficiently.
• Log service activity using digital tools and report on performance.
• Participate in on-call schedule and urgent service support.
• Attend live training and team sessions to sharpen skills.
• Act as brand ambassador and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation.
