First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded engineer to join a specialist team supporting customers across the world, working on naval vessels, commercial vessels and shore-based systems.
The role will involve travelling internationally to carry out installation, commissioning, fault-finding, troubleshooting and acceptance testing, alongside providing technical support to customers and assisting with training.
Our client would be particularly interested in candidates from a Royal Navy background, especially those with experience in marine engineering, electrical systems, communications or technical equipment maintenance. This experience could provide an excellent foundation for transitioning into a civilian field service engineering role.
Candidates with relevant field service or technical engineering experience from other backgrounds will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable individual looking for a varied, hands-on role with opportunities to travel internationally and work on specialist marine systems.
Our client is particularly keen to hear from former Royal Navy personnel whose military experience has given them the technical knowledge, discipline and problem-solving skills required to succeed in a field-based engineering environment.
Our client is particularly keen to hear from ex-military personnel - however, all suitably qualified candidates will be given due consideration.
