Dennis Eagle is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain specialist vehicles at customer sites and workshops. This mobile role covers London and the South, with Bexley Service Centre as base.

You will diagnose faults, perform servicing, prep for MOT, use diagnostic software, log work in PDA, travel the UK, and uphold safety. NVQ Level 3 and field service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance.
• Experience in Field Service, HGV Mechanic or Workshop Engineer is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle technology systems and compliance standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel and flexible with hours.
• General computer literacy and ability to complete technical documentation.
• Experience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus.

Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: Field-based, covering London and the South, with Bexley Service Centre as allocated base

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 06:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: between £51,831.00 - £53,445.60 pa DOE

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for problem-solving and delivering exceptional service? We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our Aftermarket team!

This is a mobile role where you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining specialist vehicles at customer sites and company workshops. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance.

Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance
• Previous experience in a similar role (Field Service, HGV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of vehicle technology systems and compliance standards
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible with working hours and willing to travel
• General computer literacy and ability to complete technical documentation
• Experience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus
