Job summary

Badger Meter UK Limited is seeking a field technical support engineer to assist customers with calibration, installation and commissioning of systems across the UK and Ireland.

You will train customers, analyse measurement data, work with software for case tracking, and liaise with training and marketing teams to improve service quality.

The role requires travel five days a week, excellent customer care, strong problem-solving skills, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering and experience in a customer-facing field service or technical support environment.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience servicing analytical equipment; water industry knowledge is a plus.
• Professional experience including customer contact, especially for service & commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical support for customers and calibration services.
• Installation and commissioning of new systems and upgrades of existing systems.
• Perform field training for customers onsite or via internet-based methods.
• Provide feedback to training and marketing teams to improve materials and issue resolution.
• Stay proficient with meter and system technology, including software.
