Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a Birmingham-based client. You will service world-leading crushers, screeners and shredders across the UK, traveling nationally to client sites.

The role covers repair and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, hydraulics, motors, gears and engines, with full manufacturer training provided. Basic hours are Mon-Fri 8:00–17:00, with optional overtime and a company van.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer in heavy industrial or plant environments.
• Willing to travel nationwide across the UK.
• Able to perform door-to-door breakdowns and repairs.

Are you a Service Engineer from a heavy industrial or plant background looking to join a rapidly growing company, offering the chance to work on exciting, high-tech machinery with ongoing manufacturer training and a substantial amount optional overtime to significantly boost your earnings? Do you want to join a company that will offer you varied work with national travel all over the UK, where no two days will be the same? In this role you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment for the construction and recycling industries. You will be working door-to-door in a UK wide patch on world leading crushers, screeners and shredders, fault finding by repairing gears, engines, hydraulics and motors. You will be given full manufacturer training to expand your skillset.

Since 2014, this company have been the leading distributors in crushing, screening and recycling equipment serving waste industries across the UK and Ireland. After four years of consistent doubling, they are looking to continue this period of prosperity and bring in an Engineer who they can invest in.

This would suit a Field Service Engineer from a Heavy Industrial background looking for a company that will offer consistent training, the opportunity to grow and generous overtime.
