Job summary

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer of advanced patient lifting and transfer systems, supporting customers in their homes across the UK. You will service, maintain and repair equipment in customers' homes, managing your own diary with support from an experienced technical team.

Responsibilities include fault-finding, preventative maintenance, installation, safety checks and detailed record-keeping, with a focus on high-quality customer service and safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing, repairing or maintaining electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify faults.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, electronic and mechanical fault-finding.
• Planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repair.
• Repair and replacement of motors, actuators, batteries, controls, sensors and mechanical components.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Safety inspections, functional testing and compliance checks.
• Completing accurate service and maintenance records.
• Providing a professional, considerate service to customers, carers and families.
