Job title: Field Service Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Start date: As soon as possible, subject to clearance

Salary Range: £Competitive

Location: Near Stoke-on-Trent

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Travel to local surrounding sites required)

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Integrate telemetry systems with existing hardware and software solutions, including design, testing, installation, and commissioning.
2. Develop and maintain technical documentation such as schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve telemetry-related issues during development and testing phases.
4. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with software engineers, hardware engineers, and project managers to optimize solutions.
5. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
6. Provide detailed site surveys and technical support for the wider team and customers.
7. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into engineering solutions.
8. Ensure adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

1. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
3. Strong electrical engineering background, preferably in control systems or electrical engineering
4. Several years of hands-on experience with electrical equipment installation
5. Proficient in interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
6. Current full UK driving license

All candidates must be able to obtain UK National Security Vetting Status - SC Clearance.
