Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a Garage Equipment Service Engineer based in the North West of England with travel to branches across the country. You will service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic garage equipment, including lifts, ramps and MOT gear, on client sites across the UK.

The role requires previous field-based engineering experience, the ability to work autonomously, and occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential, with opportunities for training and progression within

Qualifications

• Previous field-based garage equipment maintenance experience.
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, compressors and MOT equipment.
• Fault finding and repair on breakdowns, plus planned preventative maintenance of ramps and garage equipment.
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner; ensure van is stocked with required parts and tools.
• Work within a team of engineers and service controllers.
